the Zoo wedding

LionI did an awesome full body Lion for a Zoo Wedding this last Saturday and family loved it.

But rain was playing havoc on the fondant but it worked. I was really proud of it..

The flavor was a kulaha chocolate with chococlate fondant, but the grass around the lion made it look like it was in the African grasslands, thanks to Kim Seesee of Bloomingals for the grass.  :-D !!

Welcome to my blog

Sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you all.  But I have been busy doing cakes.  Now I am getting a lesson on computers.  I thank my heavens for my web designer, Alexis Marks, from YellowWebMonkey Web design (http://www.yellowwebmonkey.com).  She has been totally amazing and patient and I know I drive her crazy, but she says I don’t.  I know she’s lying!! :-D   She has given me everything I wanted on my website.  I didn’t just want a bunch of boxes with words, I wanted a more designer type of site that would showcase my cakes.  If you haven’t seen the site, it is at: http://www.weddingcakesbyesther.com.  I don’t have a computer mind and she has been able to explain things step by step.  I mean, I am even doing a Blog right now!!  I VERY HIGHLY recommend her if you need web design, graphic design, or just computer classes.  She is a graduate student at Baylor working on her doctorate, but still rides a Harley!
